PRACE donated for the 4th time the award ”Computational Science” at EUCYS 2021

The 32nd edition of the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) took place as a hybrid event at Salamanca, Spain from 17 to 19 September 2021. PRACE was delighted to donate for the fourth time the special award in “Computational Science”. This year, William Bille Meyling from Denmark has received the PRACE award for his project “Universal autonomous graph-based image segmentation with near-linear average complexity“. Congratulations to him and his interesting research work!

EUCYS 2021 Salamanca The future of science

The EUCYS contest is managed by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission in cooperation with a different host country each year. The contest seeks to support national efforts to attract young people to study science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), so they eventually choose careers in science and research.
