PRACE Industry Survey

Industry Survey

The PRACE-6IP project elaborated the following survey in the frame of the Task 2.1 new services for industry.

The aim of this survey is to help assess what difficulties and issues SMEs face when attempting to apply High Performance Computing and Big Data Analysis to their work and when navigating the maze of software covering virtually all industry areas and research related to them.

HPC/HPDA/AI are modern paradigms that refer to computing activities and resources, far beyond the capabilities, capacity and productivity of mass computer technology that most companies, organisations and individuals work with.

The outcome of this survey will help prepare a more detailed survey regarding Industry’s needs which will be undertaken by the HPC-GIG project at the end of this year.

The survey contains 20 short questions (the last 4 being optional) and will take on average about 10 min to be answered.

Please note that this survey is anonymous. The record of the survey responses does not contain any identifying information about the participants to this survey. Only if the participant to this survey would like to receive a summary outcome of the survey and be kept up to date on the project’s progress, they can enter their contact details.

The survey will be available online until 31 October 2021 at EOB.
