HPC Continuum Conference

6 July - 8 July

The HPC Continuum 2026 Conference will be held at the Maison des Arts et des Étudiants (MAE) on the Belval Campus of the University of Luxembourg in Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) from Monday 6 through Wednesday 8 July 2026.

Emerging from earlier discussions and special sessions developed in 2023 and 2024 around the evolving HPC continuum and advanced computing convergence, the conference brings together actors from research, infrastructure, industry and operational innovation communities to explore the growing integration of High-Performance Computing, AI, quantum technologies and next-generation computing ecosystems.

The three-day programme explores themes including:

  • AI–HPC convergence and heterogeneous computing environments
  • exascale data and infrastructure perspectives
  • sovereign AI and trusted digital ecosystem
  • operational and industrial deployment challenges
  • emerging models for next-generation AI and advanced computing infrastructures

Several themes addressed throughout the conference — including AI/HPC convergence, heterogeneous infrastructures, interoperability and operational deployment challenges — are also increasingly visible across broader European advanced computing discussions, including recent reflections such as the PRACE Scientific and Innovation Case for Computing in Europe 2026–2034.

The conference also includes a dedicated Industry Day focused on operational and industrial perspectives around the deployment, integration and operation of advanced AI and computing systems at scale.
